RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Specialist in Oakland, CA, for a contract during 9/22/2025 - 9/30/2026. They are open to candidates within these territory: Central Valley- Fresno, Kern, Merced, Stanislaus, and Tulare counties; Bay Area- San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, and Contra Costa counties; South Bay/Central Coast- Santa Clara, Monterey, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara counties; North Coast- Humboldt, Trinity, Lake, Mendocino, Siskiyou, Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties; North Valley/Sierra- Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Shasta, Tehama, and Yolo counties. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence 1-2 times per month for office work, field site visits, and in-person team meetings.
Summary:
The Electric Operations team ensures the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to customers. Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration and emergency response.
Duties/Day to Day Overview of Real Estate Technical Specialist:
* Quality review of Project Authorization package (JE, BC, Charter, Stage Gate Checklist, PEP, FCT, etc.) and update
* Initiate Schedule Rebaselines and quality review
* Route per DOA and monitor Authorizations and Rebaselines for timely approval
* Update SAP, FRISBE and ICC Log upon approval
* Ensure new PO data added to Smartsheet
* Quality checks monthly accrual data to ensure proper accounting of completed work
* Post GRIPs to SAP to account for current period work
* Review monthly aged GRIPs to ensure reversal of only what is applicable
* Create and maintain project records in FRISBE; Manage user access
* Create and maintain SAP Planning and Controlling order numbers and status, settlement rules, operative dates
* Import project actuals from SAP to FRISBE and Forecast Tools
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong knowledge of financial data such schedules, accruals, Purchase order creation, validating of financial, Excel
* Strong knowledge of the PCA roles and responsibilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
