As a Technology Support II team member within JPMorgan Chase, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, supporting a seamless user experience and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As a Technology Support II team member within JPMorgan Chase, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, supporting a seamless user experience and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot production application data flows to ensure end-to-end application/batch or infrastructure service delivery supporting the business operations of the firm.
- Debug logs to determine root causes in Production environment.
- Looing after service desk tickets using ServiceNow.
- Monitor production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools.
- Assist in the escalation and communication of issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders.
- Identify trends and assist in the management of incidents, problems, and changes in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.
- Provide on-call coverage during weekends.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Possess 2+ years of experience, ideally working with Data/Python applications in Production environment.
- Experience with cloud platform (AWS) in setting up infrastructure using Terraform.
- Experience in programming or scripting language (Python).
- Experience working with containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with automation tool/solution such as Ansible, Autosys, Control-M etc.
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Significant advantage to have experience supporting applications on platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or AWS EMR (Databricks preferred).
- Actively self-educates, evaluate new technology, and recommend suitable ones.
- Knowledge of virtualization, cloud architecture, services and automated deployments.
