Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist (Electrical/Electron)
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and technical assistance for IPG's laser products. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and Field Service Engineers, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of technical issues.

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and technical assistance for IPG's laser products. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and Field Service Engineers, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of technical issues.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide phone-based technical support for laser products.
- Issue and manage RMAs; maintain accurate database records.
- Coordinate repair activities (warranty and non-warranty).
- Support pre- and post-installation activities for mid/high-power lasers.
- Assist in developing training modules and documentation.
- Manage failure analysis activities and create detailed reports.
- Revise work instructions, procedures, and user manuals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Background in lasers/electronics and prior customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and electrical schematics.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; dependable and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work after-hours/on-call and travel domestically/internationally as needed.
