Your Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Trainer to join our team at the new Emobility plant in Dover, Ohio. This role is essential in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring our workforce is equipped with the skills needed for success in a rapidly evolving industry. As the first point of contact for new employees, you ll provide ongoing training, support, and coaching throughout their employment, adapting methods to meet the needs of all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees, providing ongoing support, guidance, and skill development throughout their employment.
  • Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses to identify learning and development gaps and opportunities within the workforce.
  • Collaborate with Plant Leadership to align training initiatives with organizational goals and operational needs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs across a range of topics, including technical, commercial, cross-functional, leadership, and personal development areas.
  • Create engaging curriculum and learning materials, leveraging diverse training methods such as e-learnings, presentations, practical exercises, and classroom instruction.
  • Organize and schedule training sessions, ensuring access to resources and content as required.
  • Provide individual coaching and support to employees on both functional and personal development matters.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and quality of training programs, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to training programs and serve as a liaison with the HR and administrative teams.
  • Plan and execute both short-term and long-term qualification and development programs tailored to individuals or job groups.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor s Degree and/or Journeyperson s Certificate in Trade or related field or related experience.
  • Alternative applicable work experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in relevant technical skills, related to modern manufacturing technologies, such as:
    • Automated Assembly with complex tooling
    • Robotics, Automation, AI
    • Welding processes
    • CNC Machining
    • AGVs
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of current quality specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
