Position Summary

As the Technical TrainingSpecialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical skills and knowledge of the maintenance team and machine operators. This role will focus on designing and implementing technical equipment training programs utilizing resources within the Technical Training Center and subject matter experts throughout the company. You will be a driving force behind the continuous growth and technical competencies of the maintenance technicians and machine operators.

  • Support, coordinate and oversee the development of standardized onboarding for the factory technical maintenance teams. This includes onboarding for the local leadership team, building leadership, functional, NCE/TPM, line centric, and technical competencies. The development of these programs will be aligned with the business priorities and aimed at addressing the top factory losses.
  • Monitor and coordinate ongoing onboarding and competence management for maintenance personnel at factory location as well as the determination of onboarding content and plans for development of materials for key equipment maintenance competencies.
  • Coordinate efforts and oversee deployment of a digital platform and development of a digital structure strategy for maintenance trainings and competency management
  • Coordinate efforts, monitor, and recommend improvements to the Technical Training Center, including development of technical training modules and oversight of technical training curriculum development.
  • Lead, train, and coach the factory maintenance teams in ownership of technical maintenance training activities
  • Work in partnership with the E&T manager and maintenance manager for approval, coordination, and development of training needs.
  • Develop and deliver classroom/online/virtual training with an emphasis on our 70-20-10 learning principles using appropriate modes, methods, and materials for the best learning venue and knowledge transfer, with skill application.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Training and Development, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

OR
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent with 2+ years of training experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $55,000.00 - $87,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
