Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a Technical Writer with experience creating clear and accurate technical documentation. This individual will have a direct impact on improving communication between SOC leadership, operational teams and stakeholders. The Technical Writer role involves developing, editing and maintaining a wide range of documents that support SOC management, operations and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth, development and culture of an exciting and fast-growing company in the cybersecurity market.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop, write and update documents to support SOC management and stakeholder communication.
  • Create and update reports, manuals, briefs, proposals and other technical documents.
  • Prepare instructional materials and catalogs detailing processes, methods and procedures.
  • Support documentation for installation, operation and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain version control and ensure documents are aligned with organizational standards.
  • Ensure complex technical information is communicated in clear and concise language.
  • Contribute to the improvement of documentation standards and practices.

What you need to know:

  • Experience writing and editing technical and administrative documentation.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible language.
  • Familiarity with document management standards and version control practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating with managers and technical staff to gather input and verify accuracy.

Must have's:

  • Associate's degree or 2+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes through critical thinking.
  • Applicants must currently hold and maintain an active Secret clearance.
