Major investment Bank is looking for Technical Writer for a long term contract position in Plano, TX


Industry : Banking/Finance


Position : Technical Writer


Location : Charlotte, NC


Duration : 12 -18 Months (Contract to Hire)


Pay Range : $50/hr - 57/hr


Must Haves:



  • Strong technical writer experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • JIRA and BMC Remedy experience

  • Understanding process flow and working with end users

  • Self Starter

  • Writing Styles: Explanatory and procedural writing for multiple audiences.

  • Cybersecurity: Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and best practices.

  • Financial Institution experience



Responsibilities:



  • MFA Rollout: Support the continual rollout of existing and new MFA features (e.g., Security USB Keys, physical badges, MFA for Desktop, third factor authenticator).

  • Documentation: Produce end-user documentation for new functionalities.

  • Troubleshooting: Aid in troubleshooting MFA and identity verification issues.

  • Collaboration: Work with security engineering teams, product management, Corporate Communications, Global Service Desk, and Identity Defense teams.

  • Communication: Clearly communicate the steps for adoption and the value proposition of new features.

  • Data Management: Manage data using Excel reporting and incident management systems like BMC Remedy.

  • Training: Quickly grasp cybersecurity concepts and protocols as part of on-the-job training.

  • Customer Support: Troubleshoot with customers in a calm and effective manner.
