POSITION SUMMARY

The Technology Delivery Manager - IT Operations is responsible for leading the successful delivery of IT operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving continuous improvement across infrastructure, platforms, and services. This role acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, managing delivery timelines, resources, and risks while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities

Program & Project Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain integrated delivery roadmaps, milestones, and status reports across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including software engineering, infrastructure, cloud, network, and service management.

Strategic Alignment & Portfolio Support
  • Support prioritization and resource allocation across initiatives in alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Contribute to portfolio-level planning and reporting, ensuring visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure initiatives support business outcomes and strategic KPIs.

Delivery Oversight & Performance
  • Monitor and report on delivery KPIs, including velocity, quality, and operational impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL practices, governance standards, and delivery frameworks.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with business units, IT leadership, and external partners to define requirements and delivery expectations.
  • Communicate delivery progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.

Risk & Compliance Management
  • Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Change Enablement & Team Readiness
  • Support adoption of new tools, platforms, and processes across technology teams.
  • Assist in preparing teams for operational transitions and process changes.
  • Contribute to building a collaborative, high-performance culture across delivery teams.

Domain Specific Support
  • Other tasks, responsibilities as defined by technical domain leadership
  • Facilitate regular reporting, documentation, and transparency across delivery efforts.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or related experience
  • 7+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or service delivery.
  • 3+ years in a delivery or program management role within a technology organization.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
