We are looking for a Tender and Project Procurement Specialist for our client in Raleigh, NC
Job Title: Tender and Project Procurement Specialist

Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement within project-based environments.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale project procurement plans.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems and project scheduling tools.
Experience:
  • Experience supporting EPC, utilities, grid integration, industrial, or similar project environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing long-lead and critical-path equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with supplier quality processes, inspections, and documentation.
  • Experience collaborating with global and regional supplier networks.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead supply chain participation during tender development, including sourcing strategies, supplier evaluations, and cost inputs.
  • Issue RFIs and RFQs and perform techno-commercial evaluations in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams.
  • Provide pricing, lead-time, logistics, inspection, and risk inputs to proposals.
  • Ensure tender and project compliance with supply chain policies and sourcing strategies.
  • Build, own, and execute the Project Procurement Plan (PPP).
  • Develop procurement schedules aligned with engineering deliverables, manufacturing milestones, testing, and shipping.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate procurement and delivery risks.
  • Support sourcing, contracting, and supplier negotiations in coordination with category management.
  • Drive supplier performance, expediting, and on-time delivery for critical packages.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, documentation, and quality requirements with internal teams.
  • Support logistics planning, site delivery sequencing, and transportation coordination.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain interface for sales, engineering, project management, and site teams.
  • Publish procurement status reports, dashboards, and risk assessments.
  • Drive continuous improvement through supplier performance reviews and corrective actions.
Should Have:
  • Experience with global logistics and customs compliance.
  • Familiarity with supplier development and performance management.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CPSM, CSCP, or Lean/Six Sigma.
