Title: IP Client Test Engineer

Location: Denver, CO (On-site)

Duration: 1 Year Plus with possible extension

• Experience:
  • System development and/or business experience with testing, coding and design 3+ years

• Education:
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience

• Technical skills:
  • Experience with automation scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, Ruby or similar
  • Proficient in test tools (Micro Focus Octane, TestRail)

• Skills:
  • Detail-oriented and should be able to identify and tackle technical issues, creating test cases or writing defects
  • Results-oriented and have the drive to meet targets and deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective attention to detail
  • Display professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion
  • Critical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitude
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Understanding of database schemas and querying tools
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Creative solving of technical problems to ensure the ability to translate technical requirements into test plans
  • Demonstrated in-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of test automation framework and tools

• Abilities:
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to see beyond the obvious to help identify and troubleshoot defects in different scenarios
  • Ability to communicate up to key stakeholders
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
  • Ability to work well with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work with cross-functional team of internal and external resources
  • Ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment

Additional Required and nice-to-have skills

Must have Skills:

• • Experience testing streaming video on native OTT devices, like Roku, Apple TV, Smart TVs, and mobile phones.
  • Experience with API validations
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, like SCRUM or Kanban, and related tools, like JIRA
  • Tools: Splunk, Charles Proxy, or similar

Bonus Skills:

• • Experience working and collaborating with offshore teams
  • Use of Data Analytics to support validation using tools like AWS OpenSearch, Kibana, or Tableau
  • Experience testing ad insertion into streaming video
