IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.
Our client, is seeking a Transformation Program manager to conduct program and portfolio management activities, including planning and strategy alignment, oversight and governance decision support, playbook implementation, manage stakeholder communication and collaboration, cross-agency coordination, portfolio performance reviews monitoring health, KPIs and reporting. This resource will also manage the Technology Modernization Fund program and AI program.
Tasks
- Define program objectives
- Develop and maintain a roadmap
- Manage scope, budget, and schedule
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Engage with stakeholders
- Create and execute communication plans
- Align teams and resources
- Support change management initiatives
- Define, track and report on metrics including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Objectives and Key Results.
- Conduct portfolio reviews
- Develop and implement playbooks
- Provide knowledge transfer
- Organize daily activities to align with organizational goals
- Devise new programs to support organizational objectives
- Establish sustainable goals for the organization
- Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and plans
- Evaluate and assess program strengths and weaknesses
- Monitor projects and oversee project managers to ensure goals are met
- Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals

NOTE: This resource will be working in a hybrid role. Some on-site work will be required

Skills Required:
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional, and/or highly visible initiatives
- Leadership to influence, resolve conflict, and align teams to strategic objectives
- Project/program execution, including delivering the framework, managing the budget and resources, and mitigating risk
- Portfolio management for decision-making and ongoing monitoring
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting equity, maintaining transparency, and ensuring accountability
- Experience in coordinating programs, projects, and products across multiple government agencies to achieve common goals
- Understanding of State government processes
