Job Title: Tripwire Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Fully remote

Rate: $52 hr. W2

Industry Sector: Information Security / IT Consulting

Experience Level: Mid to Senior

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Key Technical Skills:
  • Tripwire Administration (3-5 years)
  • Incident Response (3-5 years)
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Security Certifications (CISSP, GCIH, etc.) - desired
  • Cloud Certifications (CCSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.) - desired

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
    • Administer, upgrade, and report on Tripwire software based on established processes.
    • Update and document processes as necessary.
    • Remediate tool-related vulnerabilities.
    • Investigate and resolve auto-generated tickets for Tripwire.
    • Provide consultative services to enterprise information systems and application owners.
    • Develop and present training for Tripwire processes.
    • Participate in audits related to Tripwire processes for security compliance.
    • Participate in security on-call rotation responsibilities.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations and written documentation as required.
    • Investigate security incidents as needed.
    • Engage in security developments in the cloud space.
    • Collaborate with clients and team members on time-sensitive projects.

Experience Requirements:
Required Certifications/Education:
    • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Security certifications (CISSP, GCIH, etc.) - desired
    • Cloud certifications (CCSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.) - desired
