Job Title: Software Engineer – Associate Director

Location: Remote

Type: Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer/UI Architect to join our team and lead the design and implementation of user interfaces for our .com sites. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of user interface architecture for .com sites, with a focus on CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of front-end design elements
• Work on enhancing user experience through the use of React and other relevant web development technologies
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of four individuals, with the potential to grow into an Associate Director role
• Manage HR responsibilities related to the team and foster a culture of collaboration and communication
• Utilize tools such as Figma, JIRA, and Lucid Charts to drive effective project management

Requirements:

• Strong experience in UI architecture and web development, with proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and React
• Prior experience working on .com sites and familiarity with platforms such as HCL Digital Experience (HCL DXoC) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team
• Knowledge of front-end development tools and technologies, with a focus on enhancing user interfaces
• Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence for effective collaboration and workflow management

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with AJAX, Angular, Dynatrace, FullStory, IBM WebSphere, SmartSheet, Sumologic
• Knowledge of Figma for design prototyping and collaboration
