The UKG Training Content Consultant will assist with UKG Pro Workforce Management Project for approximately six months. The UKG Training Content Consultant will create end-user training documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Being part of the Project Team, they will be responsible for collaborating with the Change Management team, business team and the internal project team to support training content development.

In collaboration with department and project management, the consultant will advise the project team of all risks and efficiencies and schedule any required procedures or knowledge transfer. The consultant will guide and perform design, testing and training as needed by the project team.

Essential Functions:

  • Development of end-user training content for UKG Pro & Workforce Management

These tasks will include:

    • Modifying UKG delivered training content and editing it to be specific to our business processes.
    • Adding relevant processes and screenshots into the material
    • Utilization of microcopy and UX writing
    • Collaboration with Organizational Change Management Team

  • The ideal candidate for this post should demonstrate the following skills and abilities knowledge of UKG functionality, familiarity with healthcare industry; proficiency in Micrsoft Word & PowerPoint. A portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in thinking about content in a systematic way, messaging frameworks, content mapping and modeling, conversational design, information architecture, and storytelling.

  • Prior experience with UKG Pro & Workforce Management is a plus.

This role will also work closely with our Human Resources and Payroll Departments to ensure that appropriate policies & procedures are adhered to within the implementation.

This will be a remote position, but the candidate should be available to travel if needed.

People Leadership Responsibilities- This role does not have any formal people leadership responsibilities.

Financial Responsibilities: May be assigned tracking responsibilities for an established budget.

Essential Functions:

The successful candidate will interface with key stakeholders and apply their UKG technical proficiency across different stages of the project.

  • Take responsibility for delivering work and designing the work effort.
  • Proactively identify project issues and recommend viable solutions.
  • Provide training and support to project team on UKG WFM functionality and best practices.
  • Facilitate the configuration and implementation of UKG WFM which includes Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduler, Accruals, Leave and Attendance.
  • Work closely with Project Managers communicating and understanding the goals required to complete the required tasks on time and budget.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Work Rules, Pay Rules, and Pay Codes
  • Experience with Display and Accrual Profiles
  • Experience with Accrual Policies
  • Experience with Persona Testing
  • Experience with Employee Groups
  • Process updates to Business Structure ensure accurate flow of information into Workforce Management
  • Strong background (3 plus years) in HR/Payroll data
  • Dellboomi integration experience a plus

  • Knowledge and understanding of integrating information systems with specific organizational business needs and plans.
  • Knowledge of PC applications (MS Office and MS Project) and the ability to write reports.

Minimum Education: BA/BS in a clinical discipline, computer science, or related field.

Minimum Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and related work experience with UKG modules.

Additional Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge of and experience with UKG Pro and Workforce Management
  • Knowledge of working with hospital information systems.
