What will you be doing?

Successful candidates will have a background in User Experience (UX) design and will be responsible for the translation of business needs into IT solutions.The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, highly innovative and has passion for user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather requirements, conceptualize experiences, and iterate designs with cross functional teams
  • Produce journey maps, storyboards and site maps
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around solutions using design software and Corporate Design Standards
  • Develop patterns and reusable components for cross app and cross team compatibility
  • Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends
  • Create and maintain personas through user research and data
  • Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research surveys and testing activities to assess user behavior


Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate ideas to developers
  • Problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Be self-motivated, ask questions, and find creative solutions to business problems.
  • Distill ambiguous customer requests into concrete requirements
  • Take complex ideas and communicate them clearly and concisely
  • Enjoy collaboration, with a preference for face-to-face communication, be open to giving and receiving feedback
  • Exhibit a passion for good UX design and continuous learning
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.)
  • Excellent design skills and ability to show past work
  • Ability to recognize usability patterns and promote best practices
  • Ability to take an idea from concept to wireframe, receive feedback from peers and turn it into a final prototype
  • Be open and able to react to critique and feedback from peers and stakeholders
  • Degree in Computer Science, Design, IT or related field
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript
