We're looking for a Junior UX Designer (Designer 1) to support our entertainment design team. This role will contribute to wireframes, flows, and prototypes, assist with user research, and apply established design systems to create consistent, user-friendly experiences. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with foundational skills in UX principles, visual design, and common design tools.

Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)

Wireframing and creating low-fidelity prototypes
Creating simple user flows and task flows
Basic user research skills (competitive analyses, note-taking during sessions, helping with synthesis, identifying patterns)
Visual design fundamentals: layout, typography, color, spacing
Ability to follow design systems and apply consistent UI patterns
Awareness of responsive design for web and/or mobile
Day-to-Day Tasks
Contribute to wireframes, flows, and prototypes under guidance of sr designers
Support user research by preparing materials, observing sessions, and synthesizing findings
Participate in design critiques and apply feedback
Work within an established design system and maintain consistency
Deliver design specs and assets for engineering handoff
Document design decisions and update shared files
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, engineering, research)
Assist in creating simple UI refinements, layouts, and content placement
Experience / Qualifications
1-2 years of professional UX/UI design experience (internships, school projects, freelance accepted)
Portfolio showcasing academic or project work that demonstrates design thinking, process, and outcomes
Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with agile or cross-functional team environments a plus
Bonus: exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG), usability testing, or analytics tools

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
