Role Overview
The NPE Intake Analyst acts as the front door for all requests into non-production environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Performance). This role ensures that requests from project/product delivery teams (including development, IT test, business test, and performance test groups) are properly logged, validated, estimated, and routed to the right functions. The Intake Analyst provides effort, usage, and indicative cost estimates upfront, enabling delivery teams to plan effectively, while maintaining transparency through dashboards and SLA tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Request Intake & Validation
- Act as the single-entry point for all NPE requests from project/product delivery teams.
Validate requests for completeness (scope, approvals, dependencies, timing).
Provide effort/usage/cost estimates to stakeholders before committing resources.
Categorize and route requests to the right owner (Environment Manager, Change Manager, Incident Manager).
Coordination & Communication
Maintain dashboards/reports on the request pipeline, SLA status, and upcoming allocations.
Proactively communicate request progress, blockers, and approvals to requestors.
Work with the Environment Manager for demand forecasting and scheduling feasibility.
Align with Incident Manager on access/service requests.
Required Skills & Experience
4 6 years in Release, Service Request, or Environment Coordination roles.
Experience in creating Jira dashboards/different metrics.
Familiarity with non-production environments and SDLC lifecycle.
Strong experience with ticketing/ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy).
Ability to assess usage patterns and indicative cost implications of NPE requests.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience supporting delivery teams.
Nice to have:-
Telecommunication experience.
Understanding of E2E flow or architecture.
If they have a testing background or experience, that will help to understand the E2E flow.
