Job Description
Fortune 100 Company is seeking a skilled UX Designer to join their multidisciplinary design studio. The team is responsible for envisioning and delivering end-to-end solutions across the ecosystem of products that power client's global Transportation, Shipping, and Delivery Services.
As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in enabling the planning and management of building construction by creating products for both internal and third-party customers. Your human-centered design process will leverage customer insights, data, UX methodologies, and accessibility to develop innovative experiences.
Working closely with product managers, engineers, and executive leaders, you will create elegant and simple solutions that drive product decisions and roadmaps. Your strong UX skills and deep knowledge of standard web and mobile components and patterns will be instrumental in raising the bar on design and front-end solutions.
Required Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and propose innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges.
- Lead the design for improvements of existing experiences and wholly new experiences while planning and defining strategy for the direction of future iterations.
- Quickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details.
- Advocate for your design solutions by putting them in context the inputs that influenced the design decisions including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings.
- Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, interaction flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Deliver work that's user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, and also produces results.
- Work alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle.
- Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications.
- Present design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback.
- Contribute to the group s shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies.
- Past industry preference: Enterprise Business to Business
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player.
- Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tools such as Figma, Dovetail, and AI tools
- UX Wire-framing and Prototyping - 4 yrs
- Primary UX Research (qualitative observational research) - 3 yrs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - 6 yrs
- Project Management / Stakeholder Management - 4 yrs
