Job Description Summary
The Maintenance/Facilities Coordinator is tasked with managing 14 direct hourly reports and overseeing Plant Utilities Systems at the Evendale campus. The role involves balancing short-term objectives and immediate issue resolution while contributing to long-term strategies and planning for the utilities systems.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day Operations
    • Boiler House and Water Plant Operations: Ensure smooth operation to support production, assembly, labs, and testing activities.
    • Maintenance and Repairs: Participate in maintaining and repairing site buildings and associated equipment.
    • Plant Utilities Management: Operate and maintain utilities systems, including water and steam plants.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Technical Support: Provide expertise on plant utilities systems to engineering teams.
    • Preventative Maintenance: Lead efforts in equipment maintenance, scheduling, and labor analysis.
    • Project Management: Oversee utilities-related projects, including cost estimation and scheduling.
  • Collaboration
    • Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with Facilities, Test Engineering, Production, Test, and Shop Operations teams to achieve project goals.
    • Troubleshooting Assistance: Support maintenance personnel in resolving technical issues.
  • Monitoring and Planning
    • Preventative Maintenance Schedule: Monitor and maintain systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
    • Long-Term Strategy Development: Help create plans for future improvements to Plant Utilities Systems.

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years' experience) + minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Ohio Stationary Engineer License

Desired Characteristics
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with industrial steam boilers / turbines
  • Experience working in or around a water treatment facility (specifically a Reverse Osmosis plant)
