Job Description:
Apex Systems has an immediate opening for a VMware VDI Engineer - onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA. Must have an active TS/SCI clearance. Interested candidates can apply to Donna at or Cameron at
You will design, implement, and maintains virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions using VMware products.
  • Designing and configuring VDI environments using VMware Horizon, vSphere, and other VMware tools.
  • Installing, updating, and troubleshooting VDI components, such as virtual machines, desktop pools, application packages, and security policies.
  • Monitoring and optimizing VDI performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff on VDI-related issues.
  • Documenting VDI processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in administering and managing VMware products, such as vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN.
  • Knowledge of VDI concepts, architectures, and protocols, such as PCoIP, Blast, and RDP.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and network technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Certification in VMware VDI, such as VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Desktop and Mobility Design (VCAP-DTM Design).
