Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on cloud and AI security
- Proven experience leading large-scale security projects and implementing enterprise security architecture design from initiation through deployment and stabilization
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), distributed applications, and architectures supporting high availability, performance, and security
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong skills in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for operational efficiency and security automation
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Splunk, etc.) and security integration into DevOps pipelines
- Solid understanding of version control systems (Git), branching strategies, and secure development practices
- Familiarity with security automation, including vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and incident response
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across security, development, and operations teams

Daily Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust security measures for cloud and AI environments
- Conduct and lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and threat modeling exercises
- Design advanced security controls and integrate them into enterprise processes
- Develop and train incident response analysts on cloud/AI-specific strategies
- Collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure secure integration of new technologies
- Continuously monitor and report on the security posture of enterprise environments to senior leadership
- Lead innovation in security automation and deployment of advanced security tools
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $240,000 - $270,000 (plus discretionary performance-based bonus)
