They are currently seeking a Vice President, Security Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced cybersecurity leader with deep expertise in cloud and AI security who is passionate about designing secure systems, leading risk assessments, and embedding advanced security controls across enterprise environments. The VP Security Engineer will play a key role in safeguarding cutting-edge technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the organization's global security initiatives forward.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on cloud and AI security
  • Proven experience leading large-scale security projects and implementing enterprise security architecture design from initiation through deployment and stabilization
  • Deep expertise with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), distributed applications, and architectures supporting high availability, performance, and security
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Strong skills in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for operational efficiency and security automation
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Splunk, etc.) and security integration into DevOps pipelines
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git), branching strategies, and secure development practices
  • Familiarity with security automation, including vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and incident response
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across security, development, and operations teams

Daily Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement robust security measures for cloud and AI environments
  • Conduct and lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and threat modeling exercises
  • Design advanced security controls and integrate them into enterprise processes
  • Develop and train incident response analysts on cloud/AI-specific strategies
  • Collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure secure integration of new technologies
  • Continuously monitor and report on the security posture of enterprise environments to senior leadership
  • Lead innovation in security automation and deployment of advanced security tools

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $240,000 - $270,000 (plus discretionary performance-based bonus)
