Validation Technician (Hardware)

Looking for candidates with strong python and Linux skills. They must be able to write and execute python scripts to automate test execution and data collections.

These are not rigid or hardcore requirements, but they represent the key competencies and experience that will help ensure candidates can effectively support rack provisioning, diagnostics testing, and data collection work. Please use this as a guideline when screening and submitting candidates.

Data Collection and Plotting:
Contractors should be able to support data collection and basic analysis. Ideal experience includes:
Collecting logs from compute and switch nodes
Parsing output from provisioning and diagnostic runs
Generate plots for metrics such as link stability, bandwidth, errors, thermal data, or power behavior
Automating simple data extraction using Python or bash
Summarizing results clearly for internal reporting

Technical Foundations
Contractors should have strong technical fundamentals in the following areas (ideally):

Linux

SSH, SCP, file permissions
journalctl, dmesg, and syslogs
systemctl service troubleshooting
Basic bash scripting
