A Veeva Project Manager involves leading the implementation of Veeva's software, primarily the Vault Quality Suite, for life sciences clients, requiring strong project management methodology, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and a deep understanding of both project management best practices and the life sciences domain. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, managing timelines and resources, facilitating communication, identifying, and resolving project risks, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership & Management:

Lead project execution, manage day-to-day activities, and deliver services on time and within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Client & Stakeholder Management:

Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, manage their expectations, and act as the primary point of contact.

  • Project Planning & Execution:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Risk Management:

Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and potential problems.

  • Team Management & Mentorship:

Guide, mentor, and develop project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Technical Acumen:

Understand the Veeva Vault technology platform for managing clinical trial data and documents, and provide technical guidance.

  • Communication & Reporting:

Maintain transparent and consistent communication with clients and internal teams.

  • Process Improvement:

Implement project management methodologies and identify learnings from post-project assessments to improve overall processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Project Management Expertise:

Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies (including Agile/Scrum), and tools (like Microsoft Project, Jira).

  • Life Sciences Domain Knowledge:

Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry, with a strong understanding of Veeva products.

  • Technical Skills:

Experience with Veeva Vault and its applications (Especially Veeva RIM implementation), along with a background in software development.

  • Leadership & Soft Skills:

Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Education:

A Bachelor's degree, often in a technical field like Computer Science, is preferred.
