Job Title: WMS Software Implementation Project Manager
Location: Oak Park, IL
Job Type and Duration: Direct Hire
Pay rate: $110,000 - $150,000 or Open for the right experience

Job Description:
We are hiring a dynamic, customer-focused Software Implementation Project Manager to work out of our corporate office. This role will support the implementation of our WMS software at our customer's sites all over the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the customer contact(s) on the project site and internal departments to coordinate the implementation of the WMS software.
  • Develop project timelines and budgets with milestone dates for completion of work. Meet with internal resources and customers to ensure project is completed according to schedule and according to our methodologies.
  • Coordinate the work software project engineers and consultants, monitoring the completion of their work as the project progresses
  • Meet with the customer to assist in their training and understanding of the WMS software.
  • Write project reports, memoranda, and correspondence detailing project status and issues.
  • Negotiate with the customer to determine the cost, terms, and conditions of change orders.
  • Travel in furtherance of responsibilities.

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or IT.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience
  • An understanding of logistics and warehousing
  • PMP and knowledge of agile methodologies is ideal.
  • Experience implementing a WMS software and knowledge of software development project management ideal.
  • Ability to travel 30% (normally US domestic travel only).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is ideal
