RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a hybrid Web Staff Engineer to join their team.
Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital solutions for some of the most recognized brands in the industry. You will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and optimizing web platforms, leading important integration initiatives, and collaborating across teams to deliver innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Web Staff Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications and digital solutions for high-profile brands
* Architect and implement front-end and back-end systems using modern frameworks and technologies
* Drive requirements gathering, story-writing, and grooming sessions with stakeholders
* Oversee code quality, debugging, testing, and technical strategy for multiple projects
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and DevOps
* Develop and maintain robust build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
* Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering best practices in Agile methodologies
* Participate in interviewing and onboarding new developers
* Ensure high standards in documentation, version control (Git), and release management
* As a Web Staff Engineer, you will support and optimize cloud-based solutions
* Provide technical leadership for integration projects, including API development and database management
* Champion innovation and adoption of new technologies to enhance team performance and product quality
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 13+ years of hands-on experience in web application development and engineering leadership
* Deep experience with React, Node.js, D3, jQuery, Angular, and related frameworks
* Experience with cloud platforms and database technologies (Cloudflare, MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL)
* Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, and release management
* Strong background in Docker, Webpack, Babel, SCSS, and build automation tools
* Proven success in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban), including story-writing and sprint planning
* Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ECMAScript, TypeScript, PHP, SQL, Python, and Java
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive technical strategy, and deliver innovative solutions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
