Job Description
We are seeking Wi-Fi Test Engineers to join our team supporting device testing initiatives. This is an onsite role in Sunnyvale, CA, working directly at the client office due to heavy dependency on lab infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Wi-Fi protocol testing, debugging, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for Wi-Fi features including connectivity, throughput, roaming, and power management.
- Perform protocol-level testing across 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Conduct interoperability testing with various access points and client devices.
- Use tools like Wireshark, IxChariot, Octoscope, and AirMagnet for analysis and debugging.
- Automate test cases using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Log defects, analyze root causes, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and procedures.
