Job Details

Location: Candidate will be required to be In office in Herndon, Virginia 4 days a week (Will be discussed further during interviews)*
Job Summary:
Working with the Endpoint Management vulnerability team, this employee will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities within the organization's IT Endpoint infrastructure. This role involves conducting regular vulnerability assessments, coordinating with both on site and remote user workstation to address any identified vulnerabilities and implement security measures to mitigate found vulnerabilities. Other rolls including answering tier 3 helpdesk tickets, working with programs such as SCCM and Intune, and supporting A/V equipment within the Herndon Office
Key Responsibilities:
Regular monitor vulnerability scans performed on systems and applications.
Mitigate found vulnerabilities by contacting users and Remoting into Laptops to preform Patching.
Identify and document security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
Work closely with IT teams to ensure vulnerabilities are promptly addressed and mitigated.
Develop and maintain vulnerability management procedures and documentation.
Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Stay informed about emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
Provide support during security audits and assessments by third-party entities.
Provide technical support to users when needed.
Provide office A\V support to when needed.
Working within Intune and SCCM
Employee will also support the Asset Management team when needed. This includes duties such as creating\updating asset records and distributing assets to Herndon Employees.

Experience in vulnerability assessment and management.

Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as Nessus, MECM and Intune

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
