Role: Workday HCM Functional Consultant (with Finance experience) Location: Fremont, CA (Onsite)

Job Description:

Looking for an experienced Workday HCM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Core HCM and cross-functional knowledge of Workday Finance. The ideal candidate will support configuration, enhancement requests, integrations, payroll/finance alignment, testing, and business process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Configure and support Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, and Talent.

Work closely with Finance teams on touchpoints such as Payroll, Accounting, and Costing.

Support Workday business processes, reporting, security, and functional analysis.

Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform impact analysis, and manage change requests.

Execute testing (UAT, regression, functional) and support Workday releases and tenant updates.

Build and update Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.

Required Skills:

4 8+ years of experience as a Workday HCM Functional consultant.

Hands-on experience in Core HCM and at least one area: Compensation, Absence, Security, Reporting, Talent/Performance.

Working knowledge of Workday Finance modules (Payroll, Accounting, Costing, Financial Integrations or Time Tracking tie-ins).

Strong experience in Workday Configuration, Reporting, and business process setup.

Nice to Have:

Workday HCM Certification

Exposure to Integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors)

Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, Agile Methodologies
