Workday Integration Architect Consultant
Location: Bay Area, CA (Onsite)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Integration Architect Consultant to lead integration efforts and architect scalable Workday solutions. The ideal candidate will bring both deep functional expertise in HR processes (HCM, Benefits, Payroll) and strong technical skills in Workday integrations. You will serve as a critical bridge between business teams and technical resources throughout the Workday implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders and implementation partners to gather and analyze requirements across Workday modules (HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence).
Workday Configuration: Configure Workday business processes, security roles, and organizational structures.
Integrations: Design, develop, and support integrations using:
EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
Core Connectors
Workday Studio
Report as a Service (RaaS)
Reporting: Create calculated fields and build custom reports (simple, advanced, composite).
Data Migration: Lead data extraction, transformation, and loading processes during system migration.
Testing & QA: Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT); manage defect resolution.
Documentation & Training: Deliver technical documentation, user guides, and conduct end-user training.
Production Support: Support system go-live, handle incidents, and apply Workday bi-annual updates.
Client & Vendor Collaboration: Interface with internal HR/IT/Finance teams and third-party vendors.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure alignment with regulatory standards (SOX, GDPR, etc.).

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, or related field.

Experience:
2+ end-to-end Workday implementations.
Integration experience with ADP and multiple Workday modules (HCM, Benefits, Payroll).
Proven hands-on expertise in EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio.

Technical Skills:
XML, XSLT, SOAP/REST APIs, and data transformation best practices.
Strong command of Workday s object model and security framework.

Certifications:
Active Workday certification in one or more modules (HCM, Payroll, etc.).
Workday Integrations certification is a strong plus.

Tools: Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems.

Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with a detail-oriented and client-focused mindset.
