Project Description:
Our client is live with Workday HCM and is seeking a Workday System Integration Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integrations that connect Workday with internal and external systems. This role requires strong technical skills, deep knowledge of Workday's integration tools, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly. Partnering closely with HR, IT, Finance, and other teams, the analyst will translate business needs into effective integration solutions that ensure seamless data flow and system performance.
Day to day responsibilities:
The Workday System Integration Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of data between an organization's Workday platform and its internal and external systems. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integrations while collaborating with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, and other departments to translate business needs into effective solutions. Key responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements to build scalable integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Cloud Connect; proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues; and providing technical guidance on best practices. The analyst will also develop and execute test plans, manage deployments through established change management processes, and create detailed documentation such as data mappings, transformation logic, and error-handling procedures. Additionally, the role involves producing reports on integration performance and staying current with the latest Workday features to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
Required Skills:

Proven experience working with Workday integrations and People Systems, including hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, and Cloud Connect.

Workday HCM Experience

Strong understanding of web services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, and other integration technologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Workday Integration certification is highly preferred.

Experience with other People Systems

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.

Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices.
Experience in project management methodologies.
