Hire Technology is seeking a highly skilled and assertive Workday Security Project Lead to support a remote, 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in functional Workday security, demonstrate sound decision-making under pressure, and provide leadership in a fast-paced, post-production environment. This is a critical role that will focus on remediation, governance, and best practices to ensure data security and compliance across a global Workday implementation.
Responsibilities:

Lead post-production support focused on evaluating and remediating Workday security configurations and controls.

Implement process improvements to reduce risk and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to Workday HR security.

Work on the global Workday implementation, focusing heavily on security issues.

Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on security best practices within Workday.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns across a global Workday environment.

Rapidly assess security risks and develop actionable remediation plans.

Communicate assertively to highlight and resolve security issues, ensuring the continued integrity of Workday security architecture.

5 - 7 years of hands-on experience with Workday security, including role-based access and domain security policies.

Workday Security certification is required.

Proven ability to manage and resolve functional Workday security issues.

Prior experience working in a global Workday implementation is highly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to make decisions quickly and effectively in a high-paced environment.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and strategic mindset.
Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the US.
