Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Workplace & Real Estate Strategy - Space Planner / Move Coordinator for a contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance services clients in Holmdel, NJ, New York, NY or Bethlehem, PA.

Responsibilities :
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Space Planner / Move Coordinator to temporarily support our Workplace Strategy, Design & Experience team. This role is critical in supporting the planning and execution of space utilization strategies, office moves, and workplace transitions that align with our organizational goals and enhance employee experience.
  • Develop and maintain space plans that support business needs, growth, and workplace strategy.
  • Coordinate and manage internal office moves, restacks, and relocations from planning through execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Facilities, IT, HR, and Business Units to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Maintain accurate occupancy data and space allocation records using CAFM/IWMS systems.
  • Conduct space audits and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Support change management efforts related to workplace transitions.
  • Communicate move plans and logistics clearly to impacted teams and stakeholders.
  • Partner with furniture vendor on creating furniture layouts and place furniture orders.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in space planning, move coordination, or workplace operations.
  • Proficiency in space planning tools (AutoCAD, CAFM/IWMS platforms).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
