Apply for this opportunity as a dual modality (x-ray and CT) Technologist in North Carolina!

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. This dual-modality role is responsible for performing both computed tomography (CT) and general radiographic procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to patient care, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of CT and X-ray exams following physician orders and departmental protocols

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety

  • Position patients appropriately while maintaining comfort, privacy, and radiation safety standards

  • Follow ALARA principles and adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control procedures

  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in PACS and EMR systems

  • Monitor patients during exams and respond to changes in condition as necessary

  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results

  • Participate in on-call or rotating shift coverage as required


Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required

  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or must obtain within [6-12 months] of hire.

  • BLS certification required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiography

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team


Work Environment:
  • Exposure to ionizing radiation and bodily fluids, with appropriate PPE provided

  • May require rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
