ECS is seeking an iOS Mobile App Developer to work remotely .
ECS is seeking a skilled iOS Mobile App Developer to join our team to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Apple's iOS platform.
The candidate analyzes and studies complex system requirements. Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Supervises software configuration management.

ECS is seeking a skilled iOS Mobile App Developer to join our team to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Apple's iOS platform.
The candidate analyzes and studies complex system requirements. Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Required Skills
- Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C programming languages
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Desired Skills
- Using GIS products such as Esri ArcGIS software suite, Google Maps, and open-source GIS tools
- Automating GIS workflows, ArcGIS and QGIS
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for GIS-related issues.
- Using testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Mocha, Selenium)
- Using source control tools GitHub.
- Using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
- Participating in Scrum or other agile methodologies
- Leveraging the latest advancements in AI/ML and data engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Processing, etc.
- 2+ years of iOS development experience
- Ten (10)+ years of performing software engineering activities
- Published one or more iOS apps in the App Store
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
