Qualifications:

14+ Years of experience with LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and feature testing/certification

CCIE/CCNP certified or equivalent level of expertise

Preferred Certifications:

AWS Advanced Networking

Azure Network Engineer

Google Cloud Platform Cloud Network Engineer

Technical Skills & Experience:

Cloud Networking (4+ years):

Experience with Cloud PaaS/IaaS (Azure, AWS)

Strong understanding of cloud compute & related operating models

AWS: VPC IPv6 addressing, Internet/Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53

Azure: VNet IPv6, Azure Load Balancer, IPv6 Express Route, NSGs, Network Watcher

Google Cloud Platform: Cloud Routers, Google Access for IPv6, Cloud NAT64, Interconnect, VPC Flow Logs

IPv6 Networking (3+ years): Validation, design, and implementation experience

Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPBGP, MPLS VPNs, VxLAN, Multicast

Security & Encryption: DMVPN, IPSEC, Encryption Standards, Network Security

Cisco Expertise: IOS-XE, Nexus Devices

Lab & Testing: Building lab designs, hardware/software certification, PoCs

Test Tools: Ixia, Spirent, iperf, latency generators

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

Python Network Programming
