Position: Enterprise Architect 

Work Site: 100% Onsite in Austin, TX—Need local candidate from Texas

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs with interlocked modeling for very large complex technical solutions.

·       Analyze customer service requirements and designs service solutions to meet those objectives.

·       Use expertise to construct specific and detailed solutions that encompass process and technology needs, related scope documents, risk profiles, and corresponding financials.

·       Maintain and utilize detailed industry and internal services knowledge in the construction of industry‐leading services solutions, including expert working level knowledge of the processes, technologies, and people components involved in the services arena.

·       Constructs risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to complex services proposals.

·       Composes detail and summary system and workflow documents that specify processes, technology, staffing, and project management involved in solutions.

·       As needed, provide a "trusted expert advisor" role as a Subject Matter Expert for technical services, to both internal and external customers, ranging from formal advice to internal and external customer presentations.

·       Follow all organizational Standard Operating Procedures related to system modeling, approvals and reviews, and all other associated workflow and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have experience in higher education, financial, or government systems, working with relational and non-relational databases, multiple, interconnected third-party and custom applications, and implementing best practices in data and systems architecture

 

Mandatory Skills:

·       Experience in data mapping, data integration, and ETL processes in relational and non-relational databases.

·       Experience working with sensitive data in higher education, financial, or government sectors.

·       Experience working with multiple, interconnected third-party and custom applications.

·       Proven ability to work on projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging stakeholders

·       Ability to implement data governance frameworks and ensure data quality.

·       Experience developing requirements and documentation for IT and business solutions that will meet program and user needs.

·       Experience working in cross-functional teams with business analysts, developers, and data engineers.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

·       Experience working with vendors to integrate new third party solutions with existing technology.

·       Experience in Agile development and backlogs.
