SAP -Sr DevOps Enggr - Contract or CTP - Remote - $60.00 -$68.00/hr.

Role Description
Core Responsibilities:
Support Hyperscalers like AWS
Support SAP Converged Cloud (OpenStack)
Deploy Automation Tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef)
Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Work on CI/CD Pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)
Perform Monitoring (e.g., Dynatrace, CloudWatch)
Develop Logging (e.g., Splunk (preferred), Elasticsearch, Logstash)
Work with Cloud Networking (e.g., AWS VPCs (preferred), VNet, Google VPC)
Cloud-native Application Management:
Container Orchestration (e.g., Gardener (preferred), Kubernetes, Docker)
Helm Chart creation
Repository Management (e.g., Artifactory, JFrog (preferred))
Service Management (e.g., Consul (preferred), Zookeeper)
Security & DevOps Practices:
Work with GitLab and/or GitHub
Perform Scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python (preferred))
Implement Security Best Practices (e.g., hardened containers, STIG)
Work with Security Tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault (preferred), GitHub Secrets)
Additional Knowledge:
Database Expertise (e.g., SAP HANA)
Operating Systems: Linux, RHEL
Skills & Requirements
Requirements:
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience: 6+ years of technical experience
Key Expertise Areas:
Deep knowledge of AWS
Experience with SAP Converged Cloud (OpenStack) is a major plus
Familiarity with various Automation, CI/CD, Logging, Security, and Cloud Networking tools
Excellent Communication Skills in English
SAP Solution Portfolio Knowledge (preferred)
