In this role, you ll be part of a fast-paced team responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all transactions tied to crude trading and supply movements within our client s ERP system (SAP S/4HANA). What You ll Be Doing

Monitor and verify the accuracy of all transactions related to crude trading and supply movements within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Run ERP reports to track inventory builds/draws, analyze results, and resolve discrepancies before they impact reporting.

Collaborate with offshore service providers, schedulers, and traders to ensure positions and trades are properly reflected in accounting records.

Review and resolve escalated Discrepancy Error Workbench (DEW) requests from Crude Accounting and Volumetric Accounting.

Serve as a backup reviewer for DEW when team members are unavailable.

Partner with Trade Support to troubleshoot and resolve SAP nomination issues that affect inventory.

Prepare reports, reconciliations, and summaries of findings for management.

Identify recurring trends that could affect inventory accuracy and help build solutions that prevent them.

Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen scheduling and reporting practices.

Jump in during month-end close and other high-intensity cycles to help resolve issues efficiently.
What You Bring

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

5-10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in the energy, trading, or commodities sector.

Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.

A sharp eye for detail and the ability to stay calm under deadline pressure.

Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal to work effectively with multiple teams.

A proactive, customer-service mindset with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
What We d Love to See
