Job Summary:
We are seeking a high-impact contract Product Manager who can take ownership of shaping vision into a clear, iterative delivery plan combining research, stakeholder input, and strong execution discipline. This role is essential in guiding both initiatives toward a phased 2026 delivery roadmap aligned with customer needs and business value.
Job Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision
Lead the refinement of the vision and strategic goals for product and the modernized sales enablement platform.
Validate and evolve product direction through user research, industry analysis, and competitive insights.
Identify and articulate the must-have vs. future opportunity capabilities balancing speed-to-value with long-term innovation.
Customer & Stakeholder Discovery
Conduct structured interviews and feedback sessions with o Independent retailers and store-level sales teams o Internal stakeholders (member support, vendor teams, customer success, training, sales, analytics, IT)
Map workflows and pain points across both internal users and retail associates.
Translate feedback into prioritized product requirements and actionable insights.
Roadmap & Release Planning
Define and socialize a phased 2026 roadmap emphasizing incremental delivery.
Partner with engineering leadership to break initiatives into achievable milestones and sprint-level deliverables.
Build clear backlog structures, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Establish success metrics and measurable value delivered in each release.
Execution & Cross-Functional Enablement
Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, data, and SMEs to shepherd work from concept through delivery.
Review and validate functionality during build, test, and launch phases.
Drive documentation, communications, and stakeholder alignment ensuring clarity on scope, trade-offs, and timelines.
Evangelize customer-centric product thinking across teams.
Job Qualifications:
Required Experience
5+ years in product management (preferably in B2B SaaS, enterprise tools, retail tech, or internal platforms)
Demonstrated success modernizing legacy systems
Proven ability to run discovery interviews and translate insights into user stories, prototypes, and roadmap priorities
Strong experience driving backlog creation, sprint planning, and cross-functional execution in agile environments
Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder and technical audiences
Ability to balance short-term delivery milestones with long-term product strategy Preferred Experience
Experience in retail technology, sales enablement tools, or internal knowledge platforms
Exposure to quoting systems, pricing intelligence, or inventory data systems
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and modern product design principles
Comfortable assessing legacy business workflows and evolving them toward modern models Key Success Indicators
