Desktop Support Engineer - Contract or CTP - Miami, FL - $20.00 -$28.00/hr.
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in Miami, FL.
Role Description
Provide IT support for manufacturing and lab systems/devices
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment like scanners, Zebra printers, tablets, and specialized PCs
Handle AV device issues (projectors, microphones, speakers, etc.)
Collaborate with network/server teams and OEMs on high-priority incidents
Manage power shutdowns and maintenance in data centers
Oversee IT asset lifecycle: collection, storage, imaging, allocation, disposal
Perform L1 troubleshooting for network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, WAPs)
Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP standards
Operate within clean room/manufacturing environments
Maintain safety and quality standards during equipment handling
Skills & Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in desktop support
Safety training and adherence to PPE/lab protocols
Deep understanding of GMP/GxP and change control processes
Experience supporting isolated networks and critical P1/P2 events
Familiarity with 5S (LEAN) or similar methodologies
Knowledge of clean room entry procedures and safety protocols.
Enterprise-level desktop support experience
Data center troubleshooting expertise
Familiarity with healthcare/life sciences domain
Strong communication and collaboration skills
