Sr. Scrum Master - Contract - Vienna, VA - $70.00 - $78.50/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master in Vienna, VA

Role Description

Champion Lean-Agile leadership and SAFe principles across teams.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Scrum practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and deliver capabilities.
Remove team impediments and drive continuous improvement.
Represent the team in Scrum of Scrums and cross-team coordination.
Ensure alignment with Program Increment (PI) Objectives and Iteration Goals.
Support Agile transformation efforts across teams, programs, and portfolios.
Promote Agile maturity, quality, predictability, and delivery velocity.
Develop and maintain product release plans and roadmaps.
Create and manage reporting metrics and dashboards to track progress and value.

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, including experience in SAFe environments.
SAFe Scrum Master and/or SAFe Release Train Engineer certification.
Proven experience coaching Agile teams and leading Agile transformations.
Strong understanding of Program Increment planning and execution.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Familiarity with API development and integration.
Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Master's degree in a related field.
SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or Lean Portfolio Management certification.
Experience with Azure DevOps.
Advanced knowledge of banking and financial services systems, especially Core Banking and Payments.
Familiarity with Navy Federal systems and business operations.
7+ years scrum master in agile/SAFe environments
SAFe Scrum Master or RTE cert
Experience leading agile transformations across programs
Understanding of PI planning
Experience with cloud platforms, API dev and CI/CD practices
Enterprise experience
