Job Title: SAP MM Lead

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Remote with occasional travel to PA as per client requirement)
Experience Required: 12+ Years

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Lead to drive the Materials Management (MM) and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) workstream for an ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield system conversion. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in SAP MM, strong cross-module integration knowledge, and hands-on leadership experience managing migration activities in large enterprise SAP landscapes.

This role requires ownership of MM process design, migration planning, testing, cutover execution, and end-user enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP MM and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process migration from ECC to S/4HANA (Brownfield conversion)
  • Perform process mapping and gap analysis between ECC and S/4HANA
  • Manage custom object remediation and migration related to MM
  • Coordinate and execute mock conversions, testing cycles, and cutover activities
  • Handle data and process changes resulting from S/4HANA conversion
  • Ensure seamless integration between MM and:
    • Financial Accounting (FI)
    • Controlling (CO)
    • Project Systems (PS)
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve integration issues
  • Lead user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance throughout the conversion lifecycle
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience
  • Proven experience in ECC to S/4HANA system conversion (Brownfield) projects
  • Strong expertise in Materials Management and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes
  • Solid experience with MM–FI, MM–CO, and MM–PS integrations
  • Hands-on experience with data migration, testing, mock runs, and cutover planning
  • Strong understanding of custom object impacts during S/4HANA conversion
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience leading MM workstreams on large SAP transformation programs
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA Simplification Item List and impact analysis
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology
  • Prior experience conducting end-user training during SAP conversions
