Lead Power Platform Developer (C
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Lead Power Platform Developer (C#/JavaScript) in Charlotte, NC
Role Description
This position is the third level of the Application Developer series. This position, with minimal supervision, is responsible for designing, coding, testing, correcting, documenting, and reviewing complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications, and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. The Application Developer in this class is responsible for leading an application development team to deliver applications based on detailed specifications. The primary function domain for this position is Health and Human Services, which contains a large portfolio of Microsoft Power Platform and ASP.NET applications. Strong preference will be given to candidates holding a Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) or Developer Associate (PL-400) Certification from Microsoft.
Develop, design, and implement automated application built upon Microsoft Power Platform/Dynamics 365 CE in a lead role
Develop, design, and implement automated application built upon Microsoft ASP.NET Core on Azure in a lead role
Provide guidance and sharing best practices regarding Power Platform (Power Apps - with focus on Model -Driven Apps) and ASP.NET development
Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, enhance, and support County software systems
Perform Code Reviews and approve Pull Requests for code produced by other team members
Work with business customers and IT business analysts in translating requirements into plans and specifications
Work in a team-based environment, communicating effectively with all levels of staff and management
Produce design and other technical documentation
Provide work estimates to project team
Troubleshoot applications and make recommendations for improvement
Coach and mentor other developers on the team
Skills & Requirements
Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) certification
PowerApps/Dynamics 365 Plugin, Custom Workflow, Client JavaScript, PCF development
.NET 8 development on Azure Platform Service As A Platform
System integration experience (Azure Service Bus, Messaging Queue, SSIS)
Minimum of five years of programming experience including education or additional experience in lieu of a degree, such as 8 +years experience. 1-2 of those years should be at the "lead" level.
Should be Microsoft Power Platform Certified in PL-400 (Associate Level) and working towards 600 eventually (most on the team are certified in PL-400)
Must be advanced in .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core Development
Must be experienced with source code control (GIT/TFS) and software configuration management
Must have experience with relational database (SQL Server) design and development
Must have experience with JS libraries, HTML5, and CSS
Must have experience developing in a continuous integration environment using source code control, automated testing, and build automation
Must have experience with agile development practices
Advanced proficiency in current version of Visual Studio
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Service
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio
Experience with Visio
Experience with Microsoft Project
Current software development technologies, trends, and methodologies
Common software engineering design patterns
Enterprise application development in C#
Experience with iterative and test-driven development practices
