The organization builds cloud-based solutions that support large-scale infrastructure projects across commercial, government, and education sectors. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on delivering secure, scalable systems.

Role Overview

The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in managing and improving both cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This includes supporting secure deployments, automating processes, and ensuring compliance across multiple environments - including federal. The role is hands-on and cross-functional, working closely with support, development, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage public, private, and government cloud environments
  • Patch and maintain software, firmware, and hardware across infrastructure
  • Deploy product updates and optimize deployment workflows
  • Participate in compliance reviews and third-party audits
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure-related production issues
  • Provide escalation-level technical support
  • Generate analytics reports for internal stakeholders

Skills & Requirements
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
  • Hands-on with Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS
  • Familiarity with Azure and public cloud platforms
  • Experience with on-prem hardware (Cisco, NetApp, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of system security and compliance
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Clear communication and mentoring skills
  • Steady work history with demonstrated impact

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • HSPD-12 certification (or willingness to obtain)
