Job description:

Infor XA (MAPICS) Techno-Functional Consultant

Role Summary:

Responsible for providing techno-functional expertise in the implementation, customization, and support of Infor XA (formerly MAPICS) ERP systems. Acts as a bridge between business users and technical teams to optimize manufacturing, supply chain, and financial operations using Infor XA modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements for Infor XA modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Finance.
Design and develop custom enhancements, reports, and integrations using CL, RPG, SQL, and Java on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform.
Perform system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and support for Infor XA Powerlink, Net-Link, and Integrator components.
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Infor support for patches and upgrades.
Develop and maintain interfaces with external systems (CRM, PLM, MES, or third-party logistics systems).
Support data migration, system performance tuning, and release management.
Train end users and prepare detailed functional and technical documentation.
Lead or assist in Infor XA upgrade and modernization projects (e.g., migration to Infor CloudSuite).
