Description:
Senior Oracle EPM Analyst will collaborate and interact with the Accounting/Finance departments to ensure efficient delivery of finance-related technology projects. The candidate must have hands-on expertise in implementing and supporting Oracle EPM Suite.
Senior Analyst ensures that Technology solutions are developed, tested, and implemented to satisfy business requirements. Further, this position requires a high degree of practical business knowledge, creativity, customer/end-user focus, and a team-oriented collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities:
Administer Oracle EPM: maintaining/tracking of hierarchy/system updates, regular database maintenance, validation and reconciliation, system security, backups, and recovery, and troubleshooting system issues.
Creating metadata changes in Oracle EPM environments including adding new GL accounts, new departments, new formulas/scripts, etc.
Execute set up and provide ongoing training for Oracle EPM Financial Close and Consolidation, Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud System (Hybrid BSO and ASO cubes), and Oracle Narrative Reporting and Oracle Smart view add-in for application s user base.
Write custom Business Rules and/or Calculation Scripts for custom logic to facilitate client budgeting and forecasting needs.
Assist with the integration of Hyperion/EPM applications with existing processes, including budgeting and forecasting, financial consolidation and close, and data warehouse/management reporting.
Develops and enhances Oracle Narrative Reports based on Oracle ASO cube.
Design and implement custom reports using EPM reporting tools to address company needs and improve frequency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting.
Configure application components, including dimensions, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, forms, reports, Smart View templates, and application rules in line with business, functional, and performance requirements.
Leads implementation of enterprise security standards into the Cloud EPM suite of applications.
Reviews monthly cloud releases for Oracle EPM, prepares, and executes required testing in a non-production environment, and provides recommendations for enhancements using new features.
Participate in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.
Supports technical issue resolution in co-ordination with Managed Service providers and Oracle Support as needed.
Function as system project manager as necessary to ensure the successful coordination and completion of the project.
Requirements and Competencies:
Bachelor s degree required from an accredited college or university in management or accounting information systems and/or Computer Science combined with Finance and Accounting concentrations. Candidates with a degree in accounting information systems
with heavy exposure to accounting and finance preferred.
Experience in a publicly traded company with Sarbanes Oxley internal control requirements, including cybersecurity requirements, preferred.
Implemented end to end EPM Projects with at least two successful implementations on PBCS and FCCS.
Must be deadline driven, a critical thinker, with an aptitude for technology and drive for efficiency improvements.
Must be a collaborator who can multi-task in a fast-paced evolving environment who is flexible and can adapt for change.
Strong follow-through and ownership of projects from start to finish required.
Must have a solid understanding and ability to read and interpret financial statements and passion for financial reporting and controls compliance.
Must be working in-office as this is not a remote position.
