Role summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Deployment Specialist to support S/4HANA and MDG program deployment activities. The ideal candidate will bridge IT and business requirements, design and validate master data processes, support migration and testing, and work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption.

Key responsibilities:

Process design: collaborate with process teams to validate and finalize Customer Master Data (MD) requirements and disposition process changes.

MDG design: draft and review business rules, derivation and default logic; coordinate with MDG technical resources to translate business requirements into the global template.

Data quality: explain and align DQM rules with the MDG technical team and support build of Data Standards and the Data Dictionary.

Data migration: map required fields, adapt mappings for local requirements, prepare cross-reference mappings, support data loads and validate load results.

Defect management: troubleshoot and support resolution of data-related defects during migration, BST and UAT.

Testing: prepare test scenarios and scripts for Business Simulation Testing (BST) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); execute BST, log data defects, and coordinate fixes with MDG/SAP technical teams.

Cutover and go-live: perform customer MD cutover tasks and other go-live activities to support project execution.

Cross-functional support: work with Business Adoption, Data Stewards and other project teams; revisit and clarify customer requirements, resolve open MD topics, and support process teams post-deployment.

Required qualifications & skills:

7+ years of program deployment experience, with significant exposure to Master Data initiatives.

Strong SAP knowledge, ideally hands-on experience with S/4HANA and MDG.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and to liaise effectively between IT and business stakeholders.

Experience with data mapping, data migration, data load validation and defect resolution.

Solid reporting and analytics skills to support data validation and stakeholder reporting.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, "can-do" attitude.

Fast learner, adaptable, and a strong team player.

Preferred qualifications:

Direct experience on transformation programs or similar large-scale global rollouts is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with Data Quality Management (DQM) tools and practices.

Experience producing or maintaining Data Standards and Data Dictionaries.

Prior involvement with global template builds and global/local mapping adjustments.
