Network Engineer- Cisco, "Aruba (Aruba CX and Aruba Central)"

Job Description:

• The locations currently have Cisco (Cisco ASRs, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco 5508 WLC) in place and will be moving over to Aruba.
• There will be significant work identifying devices that need to be migrated from Cisco to the Aruba networks
• The contractor will be working on getting devices connected, working with switches, data jack connections to switches, figuring out the right VLANs, setting up VLANs and helping with general day-to-day tasks.
• Aruba networks are being installed at sites today, so eventually a full-blown network closet refresh will happen where old Cisco devices are removed, relevant clients are moved to Aruba switches, and Cisco items are decommissioned

Skills:

• We need someone with both Cisco and Aruba (Aruba CX and Aruba Central AOS 10.x) experience.
• Knowledge of VLAN will be needed as well.
• Having Cisco Wired and Wireless experience is a big plus.
• Aruba ClearPass NAC experience would be a big plus.
• Candidate ideally has their CCNP.
• Need mid-senior level engineers.
• Presentation and communication skills are important as this person will be on-site communicating with various internal and external parties.
• There may be some on-call support needed.
