Wi-Fi Lab Engineer II - Contract - Englewood, CO - $50.00 - $59.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Wi-Fi Lab Engineer II in Englewood, CO.
Role Description
Our telco client is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Test Engineer with extensive knowledge of 802.11 specifications, including sub-chapters, .ax, and .ac standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lab skills and experience with various test tools such as Keysight (including Ixia), Candela, Octoscope, and Spirent.
Conduct comprehensive testing and analysis of wireless network performance.
Utilize lab skills to run complex tests that collect and analyze data.
Use traffic generators, attenuators, and packet capture tools to identify patterns and performance issues.
Consolidate data against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and evaluate performance metrics.
Collaborate with development teams to address performance gaps and optimize network efficiency.
Analyze data using Python scripting, Excel, JIRA, PowerPoint, and console/Linux commands.
Skills & Requirements
2-5 years of experience in CPE HW Development, HW Performance Testing, Feature Performance Testing, and HW and Feature Development.
In-depth knowledge of 802.11 specifications, including .ax and .ac standards.
Proficiency with test tools such as Keysight (including Ixia), Candela, Octoscope, and Spirent.
Experience with chipset vendors such as Qualcomm, Broadcom, Comcast, and DISH.
Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets.
Excellent lab skills, including running tests and collecting data.
Proficiency in Python scripting, Excel, JIRA, PowerPoint, and console/Linux commands.
Strong soft skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience in a lab environment, running complex tests and analyzing data.
