Job Title: C++ Developer

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer with a strong background in GE Healthcare systems and processes. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining healthcare software applications that comply with GE Healthcare s QMS standards and product requirements.
This role demands deep technical expertise in C++ development, familiarity with GE s software development environment, and hands-on experience with medical device or healthcare domain applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain C++-based applications within GE Healthcare product lines.
Work closely with system engineers and lead system designers to translate requirements into efficient, compliant code.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and system-level integration testing.
Ensure development follows GE Healthcare s Quality Management System (QMS), documentation, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, testing, and quality engineering.
Support system validation and verification activities and assist in software risk analysis and FMEA documentation where required.
Required Skills & Experience:
3 4 years of prior experience with GE Healthcare (mandatory).
Strong programming skills in C++ (C++11/14/17) with object-oriented design principles.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and medical software standards.
Experience working under regulated environments with QMS and design control processes.
Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, ClearCase, or DOORS is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with multi-threading, real-time systems, and embedded environments.
Exposure to GE Healthcare product lines such as imaging, diagnostics, or monitoring systems.
Knowledge of FMEA, CAPA, and other quality documentation processes.
Summary:
This is a C++ Developer role requiring prior GE Healthcare experience (3 4 years minimum). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise in C++, a solid understanding of QMS practices, and the ability to work effectively in a regulated healthcare product environment.
